FLIBS2015 - Perini Navi sets course for the Ft.Lauderdale Boat Show with two finalist vessels at the prestigious International Superyacht Society Design Awards
Perini Navi celebrates 30 years of attendance at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, the most important event for the American super yacht market. The Perini Navi fleet will be represented by the 50m ketch Silencio, which will stop off in Fort Lauderdale after an incredible cruise in the Pacific Islands, a worthy addition to a log-book which can already boast two circumnavigations of the globe. Completely designed by Perini’s in-house team, Silencio is one of the most famous Perini Navi yachts. And it was precisely in Fort Lauderdale that Silencio was awarded the prize as best sailing yacht of its generation by the International Superyacht Society, a prestigious international organization gathering the most influential personalities in the world of yachting. The 2015 edition of the International Superyacht Society awards also counted two Perinis amongst its finalist vessels: the 60m sloop Perseus^3, and Grace E, the 73m Picchiotti brand motor yacht which has collected to this date a number of awards, among which the World Superyacht Yacht of the Year Award. On the news front, Perini Navi has chosen the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show to preview the models of the new projects on which Perini Navi’s designers have been working on during this last year.
