Rendsburg/Germany, 20 September 2022. Nobiskrug is delighted to announce the signature of a new build contract with high-end global #superyacht brokerage, #burgess, along with #harrisoneidsgaarddesign, to #design and build a six deck 83-metre #superyacht for delivery to her owner.

Philipp Maracke, CEO of #nobiskrug, says: "Our collaboration with #burgess and Harrison Eidsgaard is based on strong shipbuilding expertise on all sides. #nobiskrug prides itself on building yachts for the future, ships that will stand the test of time. We are delighted to be working on PROJECT ORKAN with these respected partners."

The extraordinary exterior styling as well as the stylish interior comes from the strong trio Harrison Eidsgaard studio, based in London. #pedereidsgaard from Harrison Eidsgaard says, "The pure white surfaces appear to have been sculpted over a subframe, which creates a distinctive appearance with very simple graphics." The 83-metre-yacht project will be truly bespoken and tailored to the Owner's very high expectations of relaxed waterside living and features as a helicopter landing pad, generous exterior living spaces including a huge beach club transition effortlessly into the interior all of which underpins Nobiskrug's tradition to deliver extraordinary superyachts. On the technical side project "ORKAN" features a hybrid propulsion system including batteries in order to significantly reduce fuel consumption as well as electronic anchoring to protect sensitive areas.

All #navalarchitecture will be done by Nobiskrug's highly skilled workforce to ensure the highest quality standards as well as comfort levels in noise and vibration. In-house state of the art calculation expertise ensures the hull is perfectly optimized in terms of seakeeping and propulsion efficiency. Furthermore, all ship operation systems will be constantly measured and monitored during the #design phase to keep the energy requirements as low as possible.
