Camper & Nicholsons is proud to announce its appointment as the Co-Central Agency for the sale of the 41m s/y OCEAN PURE 2. It is represented by Sales Advisor, Maël Fiolet, and Bertrand Vogele of John Taylor Yachting.

The elegant OCEAN PURE 2 is a custom 41m sloop designed by Farr #yacht #design and built by Concorde Yachts. This proven blue water cruiser was first launched in 1992 but underwent a multi-million euro refit in 2019, allowing her to become the perfect example of a sailing #yacht for her size and class. She combines all the luxurious amenities of a #superyacht with the joy of sailing thanks to her seaworthiness and performance.

Owned by a well-known French editor and hotelier, the recent refit of OCEAN PURE 2 was done with keen attention paid to #design and the French concept of art de vivre. As such, her exterior spaces were upgraded to feature beautiful teak decking and chic black sails. There is ample opportunity for sunbathing and relaxing across her three decks—including a unique deck located on top of the wheelhouse, perfect for watching the sunset or sunbathing with a cocktail. Her outdoor spaces are perfect for entertaining, with spacious al-fresco dining and lounging areas.

This thoughtful #design is carried through to her interior spaces. With leather, stone, and linen throughout, accented with teak and stainless steel, the décor can be described as modern and refined. With a palette at once earthy and sophisticated, OCEAN PURE 2’s three salons and two dining areas provide abundant opportunity for socialising and entertaining, and her spacious and bright library and TV room offer a quiet place to escape the daily grind.

Thanks to her incredible volume—225GT—she can comfortably accommodate 11 guests across five cabins, including one master suite with walk-in wardrobe, one VIP cabin, two double guest cabins, and one guest double/twin cabin with both a double and a single bed. She is, in fact, one of the few 40m sailing yachts with a five-cabin configuration. Each has an ensuite bathroom with shower, as well as the usual modern amenities: air conditioning and satellite TV, on-demand movies, and a Bluetooth music system.

OCEAN PURE 2 has a range of up to 2,600 nautical miles at 9 knots. The current owner has crossed the Atlantic onboard and found it truly enjoyable, particularly thanks to her recent refit. This full refurbishment included a new engine and gearboxes, two new generators, new shafts, and equipment upgrades. All lights were replaced, and her mast, rigging and sails were also inspected and upgraded. In addition, she benefitted from a full hull inspection, repaired keel and hull joint, coppercoat antifouling, and new seacocks. In summary: she’s exceptionally seaworthy, and in turnkey condition.

Her enlarged beach club and diving/swimming platform are thanks to her spacious garage, which comes equipped with a plethora of water toys, including a kayak, water skis, surfboards, wakeboards and stand-up paddleboards, as well as snorkelling and fishing equipment. She has a dive centre with compressor, making her a fantastic choice for diving and scuba enthusiasts. She also comes with a tender onboard: the Highfield 460 with Yanmar D-Tork.
