Windy Launch First SLR/SR60

The first SLR/SR60 has been launched by #Windy Boats in Sweden.

Unveiled to clients and press at a prestigious ceremony in Slottsholmen this weekend, the SLR/SR60 is the largest of the #Windy models to date and now takes its place as the flagship of the #Windy brand.

A powerful 60ft chaseboat with a dynamic personality, the SLR60 is extremely capable in all conditions, with a generous flare to the bow and multiple chines on the hull that keep the boat as dry as possible.

With a range of 850 nautical miles at 25 knots, the #Windy SLR/SR60 has been designed to be the ultimate superyacht chaseboat. Capable of long distance excursions, the SLR60 will serve as a nimble sports boat for diving and fishing, as well as support shore side exploration.

The contemporary and elegant #design features a large swim platform aft of the luxurious guest area and bar, making it an attractive vessel for socialising and enjoying time on the water.

Below, the SLR60 offers two cabin spaces, one forward and one aft, a galley and day head with shower.

The first vessel was commissioned by an experienced superyacht owner and it has been adapted to meet their own specific requirements. The SLR/SR60 features detailed #design accents that mirror those of her superyacht mothership. Following delivery of this first SLR/SR60, further models are now in production at #Windy Scandinavia AB.

As you would expect of a high-performance chaseboat from #Windy, the SLR/SR60 will be able to traverse unprotected and open passages of water with ease. The full-height windscreen provides protection at high speed for those in the forward-facing seats and an increased fuel capacity, compared to other boats of her size, equips this

luxury tender with an exceptionally long range.

Exhilarating to drive, this incredibly responsive vessel offers impressive acceleration and handling at speed. There’s also a gyro-stabiliser to enhance comfort when at anchor.
