  • Princess continue commitment to sustainability and reduced environmental impact

Princess Yachts, the UK’s leading luxury #yacht manufacturer, has announced a five-yacht line-up at this year’s #southamptoninternationalboatshow, including the dynamic Princess V55, the sporty S62 and S66 sportbridges, plus the F45 and award-winning F55 flybridge models.

Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Princess is celebrating a successful year of sales, with 20 units of the ‘superfly’ Princess X95 ordered over the past 18 months. Earlier this year, the company also announced the launch of the all-new Princess Y72 who becomes the latest addition to the award-winning, sophisticated Y Class range. Indoor and outdoor living areas are optimised to create sociable yet practical spaces, whilst powerful twin MAN V12 1650mhp engines provide up to 34 knots of power. Featuring the very latest in Princess exterior design, interior finishes and beautifully sculpted exterior forms, she is fitted with expansive full- length hull windows, also seen on the Y95, due to launch in 2022.

The Princess Y95 becomes the flagship of the Y Class range. With Princess’s latest hull form and an efficient wave-piercing bow, she instantly provides class- leading seakeeping, reaching speeds up to 24 knots. With a spacious garage and transformer bathing platform and the option of a beach club, maximum enjoyment of time on the water is assured.

As the UK’s largest #yacht manufacturer, the company continues to place sustainability at the heart of its business, aligning its manufacturing processes to become more sustainable, implementing more responsible waste management systems and continuing their support towards the Marine Conservation Society, the UK’s leading marine environment, non-for-profit organisation. Following on from the huge success of the Ocean Photography Awards (OPA) in 2020, Princess has announced that they will once again be involved with this year’s awards. With a shared passion for sustainability and conservation, OPA presents a unique opportunity for all ocean photographers – divers, surfers and sailors alike – to share their art with the world and highlight the importance of ocean conservation. The Ocean Photography Awards is produced by Oceanographic Magazine, in partnership with Blancpain and #princessyachts, and in support of SeaLegacy.

This month, Princess has also announced some exciting news about partnerships and new innovative projects, including the Hybrid X95 and a brand partnership with Salcombe Gin.
