The Fiart 52 Open: a new take on the best-selling Fiart 52 Hard top

Fiart Mare presents the Open version of one of the most successful models in its current range, the #Fiart 52 Hard top
Scheduled for launch next July, the #Fiart 52 Open is clothed in lines that are a signature of the #Fiart Coupé range to which it belongs whilst also introducing a completely new exterior deck layout. In the latter, the dinette and cockpit/sun pad areas aft are melded into one large space, a design choice that brilliantly underscores the dimensions of the most social area of the boat, the cockpit, which is now even larger. Its impressive eight-metre length puts it on a par with significantly larger opens, in fact. The steering position, which retains all the comfort of the Hard Top version of the model, is protected by a high windshield that integrates seamlessly with the boat’s lines yet also guarantees superb wind deflection at even high speeds.
The new teak-soled open-plan area features a chaise longue to port alongside the steering position and an ingeniously designed unit that includes a hob and other domestic appliances. It can even conceal a large pop-up TV on request. The generous dinette is served by two height-adjustable tables that can either be used separately with the seating or joined together to create one large dining table.
The transom, on the other hand, is home to the very generous sun pad, which underscores the craft’s Mediterranean ethic.
The exterior lines of the hull are characterised by a beautifully designed roll-bar that gives the #yacht a strong personality all of its own. It also serves as a support for the canopy system that provides extensive and very pleasant shade when required.
The bright, warm interiors have a three-cabin, two-bathroom arrangement with the spacious central living area dedicated to a Corian-topped galley as well-equipped as any domestic kitchen. There is an excellent amount of storage room too for tableware and provisions in a variety of units, cupboards and lockers. The two larger cabins are the full-beam en-suite master aft and the VIP forward, which has a bathroom that also doubles as a day toilet.
At the owner’s request, however, the #Fiart 52 Open can be fitted with a crew cabin foremost with separate access from the main deck to guarantee guests complete privacy.
All of the interiors can be air-conditioned using a unit that can also provide warm air at colder times of the year. Each cabin has its own personalisable entertainment system too.
The standard décor and furnishings are modern and linear. A clever contrast between gloss lacquer work and woods in a choice of colours adds to the elegant ambience. The sense of exclusivity that reigns throughout the interiors is due in no small part to the superb quality of the workmanship and the beautifully detailed finish, both of which very much reflect #Fiart tradition. Naturally enough, the yard’s technical office can also assist owners in choosing completely personalised materials for both décor and furnishings.
In terms of its technical specification, the #Fiart 52 Open has a very long wetted surface along the waterline, which boosts the prowess of the standard Volvo IPS set-up. The main advantages of this particular propulsion system include reduced fuel consumption and significant vibration and thus overall noise reduction underway.
