COVID-19 Measures

As we are all aware the world is facing an uncertain time at the moment with the outbreak of COVID-19. We wanted to get in contact with you to assure you that Peters & May are still here to assist you with your worldwide logistics requirements. 

Following guidelines from the World Health Organisation, Centres for Disease Control and Prevention and Governments we have put in place numerous COVID-19 measures. 

PREPARATION

As more of the world goes into lock-down to prevent the spread of infection; we have been, and continue to plan ahead to ensure continuity of service is maintained throughout this difficult period. Our Loadmasters are now pre-positioned in the US, Caribbean, Africa, Mediterranean and Northern Europe in place to avoid travel restrictions and ensure the safe loading of cargo. 

COLLABORATION

During difficult times teamwork becomes even more important. We have strong connections built over decades with agents, stevedores, ports, skippers, airlines and hauliers worldwide allowing us to continue to load cargo making use of local trusted agents. 

ENSURING SAFETY

The safety of our staff members and clients is paramount. Following guidelines and recommended procedures all our office staff are fully functional and working from home. Peters & May is actively encouraging social distancing and self-isolation for high risk individuals. The nature of our work of course means some of our staff members are unable to work from home. Their health will be closely monitored, and individuals are under strict instructions to follow all advice outlined by public health officials. Through closely monitoring the situation we aim to provide the same first-class service we have become renowned for without compromising health and safety. 

STAYING INFORMED

As the situation evolves; Peters & May will continue to evaluate guidelines and the needs of our customers.
