On Tuesday, July 23rd, 2019, the EXR Girls, #corinnerobles and #emmaclairdumont, managed their challenge: to make the crossing Continent-Corsica on their #waverunnersyamahaexr, becoming the first women to achieve this feat in Personal Watercraft!

The challenge was simple: reach the port of Sant Ambroggio (Corsica), from the port of Hyères (South of France), a total distance of 224 kilometers (about 120 nautical miles), on Yamaha #waverunner EXR, a model, light, fast and agile. An assistance boat with a crew of 5 accompanied these two athletes to secure the crossing and proceed with the necessary refueling. For this they used a Capelli Tempest 850 OPEN powered by 2 Yamaha outboard engines of 175 hp with at the helm the famous ATV's and Jet pilot, Joel Bontoux.

Departure was given from the port of Hyères July 23 at 8:00, with a very favorable weather: beautiful sea and light winds of strength 1. It is at 13:45, after 5h45 of navigation, including 2 refueling breaks, that the 2 Athletes arrived at the port of Sant Ambroggio, achieving the challenge.

This crossing adds more to already busy charts of #corinnerobles and #emmaclairdumont, respectively former world champion of jet (speed and offshore) and victorious of the FIM Baja World Cup in Quad.

This challenge just done, Corinne and Emma are already thinking about the next Jet challenge they can realize!

Yamaha congratulates these two drivers and the entire team that participated in this amazing feat!
