The #wider 150’s spectacular beach club is one of her most appealing features.
Early renderings showed the versatility of this space – used as a garage for the custom-built 32’ tender and converting into a 7m swimming pool – but now the #wider #superyacht Division have released the first images and video of how this system works in practice.
At the push of a button, the transom of the #wider 150 opens, flooding the tender bay area and allowing the #wider #32 to be floated out of the garage on her own bottom. No cranes or tricky maneuvers, very simply driven out of the stern of the #wider 150.
With tender launched, the entire transom area opens up to become a remarkable beach club area measuring 90m2, ideal for sun worshippers but also complete with a covered swimming pool surrounded by a vast deck area.
Loading of the tender can also be done with minimum of fuss and allows guests to board the mothership safely in all weather conditions, in complete comfort and absolute privacy.
This innovative system is currently unique among yachts of a similar size although we are now seeing others follow our lead. As practical as it is eye-catching, the #wider 150 beach club resolves the age-old problem of fitting a large tender into a medium-sized #superyacht without spoiling the lines of the vessel whilst at the same time granting easy access to the sea from an exclusive and stylish sea-level swimming pool and spa.
It comes as no surprise that the #wider 150 has been nominated for the prestigious World Superyachts Awards and an International Design Award from Design Et Al.
