Azimut Yachts bolsters its production and technical areas Alberto Morelli named head of operations
With the market still weak and the competition steep, Azimut Yachts bolsters its position with new organisational strategies designed to simplify and speed up decision making processes. Specifically, the technical and production areas have been placed under the command of Alberto Morelli, named Azimut Yachts Chief Manufacturing and Operations Officer. Morelli will be responsible for the technical, production, purchasing, and quality control areas; he will report directly to Ferruccio Luppi, CEO of Azimut Yachts and Azimut|Benetti Group. Alberto Morelli will oversee the technical, production, and purchasing departments directors, Alessandro Rossi, Stefano Simonetti (who will head the Avigliana facility), and Francesco Nannetti, respectively…
