Third launch of the year for Baglietto: The Dom 133 #3 hits the water

Italian Boat Builder #baglietto celebrates their third launch this year: the third #dom133 sold in collaboration with  Remi Carrier of Canada Yachts and with both exteriors and interiors by Stefano Vafiadis hit the water last week. Following the technical ceremony, the #yacht was moved to the La Spezia site for outfitting operations to be completed before delivery, scheduled at the beginning of the summer season.

Baglietto has so far sold as many as 8 #dom133. "In spite of their contemporary layout, all yachts in this line never fail to include the key features demanded by today's market", comments Baglietto's CCO Fabio Ermetto. "Among them, a beach club on two levels with an infinity pool whose lifting bottom rises to make the already spacious cockpit even larger, and panoramic windows that open up onto spacious terraces. Additionally, choosing aluminium as the construction material has resulted not only in higher quality and increased onboard comfort, but also in greater flexibility and the ability to make any changes needed to achieve a very high level of customisation in the exteriors, too".

On this #yacht, the interiors flawlessly harmonise with the exteriors, elegantly blending sinuous and yet rakish lines with a modern, fresh look. The volumes are impressive and truly unmatched on other vessels in her class.

"The aim of this project - comments Stefano Vafiadis - has always been to achieve a smooth, seamless connection between interiors and exteriors, thereby making the most of the generous onboard spaces. The layout of the saloons and cabins emphasizes the concept of conviviality and creates a natural dialogue with the outdoor areas".

On this hull, for instance, the main saloon includes a series of innovative solutions, above all the transparent outdoor staircase leading to the upper deck, with steps that float between two glass slabs, creating a perfect backdrop for the lounge area seats. The 3D ceilings boost the interior volumes and intersect in plan, dividing the lounge and dining areas and creating a pleasant dynamic pattern.

The materials used throughout the #yacht have been skilfully chosen by her Owner to create a harmonious sense of consistency and continuity. The most extensively used wood is a pale, very delicate maple, with an almost textile feel. The fabrics - also soft-hued and natural to the touch - and precious marbles (Calacatta Oro and White Onyx) further enhance the light-toned, pure shades pervading the interiors.

The same consistency can be found in the master cabin, where the bed area and the bathroom form a seamless, free-flowing continuum, free of any gaps, thereby maximising space.

On the lower deck, the cabins can boast an almost fully-custom #design down to individual décor elements, like the bedside table lamps, which have been built-in to save space.

The upper deck saloon is the most convivial area on the vessel, featuring large glazed surfaces and floor-to-ceiling sliding windows at the stern. The rail lighting installed in the ceiling highlights the many #design pieces at best, also thanks to the unique patterns that match the style found in the exteriors.

The integrated wheelhouse has been pencilled drawing inspiration from the iconic seagull of Baglietto's logo and features precious materials reminding the dashboard of a luxury car.

Two Caterpillar C32 engines allow this #yacht to reach an impressive maximum speed of 17 knots, while the limited draught makes her ideal to comfortably cruise in the shallow waters of the Bahamas.
