At MetsTrade 2022 Videoworks will present plenty of new systems for keeping the entire yacht under control at all times

Videoworks has developed more than 750 projects in 25 years in the business: a figure qualifying it as the undisputed leader in on-board audio-visual systems, entertainment, IT and lighting & comfort. Drawing on this strength, the Italian company will be going to MetsTrade 2022 in Amsterdam (15-17 November 2022), the world's most important exhibition of nautical accessories, to present a series of innovations that promise to revolutionise control of on-board equipment for maxi yachts.

THE INTELLIAN VSAT ANTENNA
As was clear at the Monaco #yacht Show, #videoworks is increasingly focusing on on-board internet connectivity through strategic partnerships with key players on the market, agreements that already now, and increasingly in the future, will allow the company to offer 5G technologies and LEO. MYS saw the official beginning of a partnership with OneWeb and an agreement with Speedcast for distribution of the Starlink and Oneweb satellite data connection systems. An additional partnership with Intellian will be made official in Amsterdam, for the distribution of Dome antennas for VSAT LEO and GEO, but also for Satellite TV, allowing #videoworks to provide a complete #service covering all on-board data connection needs.

ETO PANEL SYSTEM
ETO Panel is a new technological suite, usable from any workstation (PC, tablet with local or remote connection), unifying control of all on-board systems in a single panel to make it easy to check up on systems and ensure their correct operation. The interface can also interact in order to consult all the basic information on the #yacht (including data from the temperature and humidity sensors), user manuals and technical drawings of all the systems.

POP-UP SPEAKER, THE INVISIBLE AND INTEGRATED AUDIO SYSTEM
Visitors at the #videoworks stand at Mets will be able to test the Pop-Up Speaker. Right after initial installation, it has been demonstrated that the totally retractable speaker is the ideal solution for all outdoor environments (thanks to waterproof technology) and #yacht interiors where visual impediments must be avoided. Customisable in both materials and colours, the Pop-Up Speaker integrates perfectly with any design solution thanks to the low depth required to disappear, eliminating the need for fixed speakers or cables that ruin the aesthetics of the
rooms.

KEEPING THE WHOLE #yacht UNDER CONTROL WITH MYINFO 3.0
Simple and intuitive - inspired by the interfaces of the most popular streaming networks - MyInfo 3.0 integrates control of all on-board infotainment, automation and CCTV. MyInfo 3.0 is an open system integrating the most popular digital and streaming services while offering fully customisable access for each device. It offers a series of “experiences” including streaming with an on-board library of videos and other content and audio streaming with an on-board library of albums of music, web radio stations, a Spotify connection and CCTV configured for each individual user. It can also be a satellite content diffuser, with one to 20 satellites all available on a central rack, provide navigation data directly from the bridge, control home automation and provide "Staff Call" services to call the desired crew members and "Captain Info" for a direct line with the yacht’s captain.

NEXT GEN ROOM AUTOMATION, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ON BOARD
The system made its début at the recent Monaco #yacht Show. The goal is to use sensors to profile the habits and needs of the owner and guests, an aspect which is even more important on chartered vessels, to adapt the environment to the different lifestyles of the people on-board. To ensure the utmost privacy, #videoworks uses Bluetooth LE sensors and technology permitting identification of people via smartphone, making on-board cameras unnecessary. The potential of artificial intelligence does not stop at these two important features, but also achieves significant energy savings by optimising use of lighting, room temperature, air conditioning and all other on-board equipment.
