Besenzoni registers growth beyond all expectations as september’s nautical shows come to a close

September’s Monaco Boat Show sees the end of a month of achievements for the Bergamo-based components company led by #giorgiobesenzoni. A threefold success, first at Cannes, then Genoa and finally Monte Carlo, which has seen #besenzoni exhibit its complete range of products for every #yacht type and size. Walking mile after mile along the shows’ docks revealed a succession of gangways, hatches, swim platforms, ladders, windows, cranes and helm seats designed by #besenzoni... in short, most of what “constitutes” a #yacht, but integrates seamlessly and discreetly with same. This is the secret of a company that for almost 60 years has featured alongside the most prestigious shipyards and on board their yachts, drawing on its ability to combine all-Italian craftsmanship, elegance and technology with countless project ideas ready to be shared and developed in synergy with different yards so as to meet the needs of a market that is fast growing in popularity and size.

Today, the company has three “souls”: Besenzoni, which focuses on the company’s standard production; Unica – Unique Yachts Accessories, which sets out to satisfy every customer need, from design through to execution of custom-made products, also providing valuable support with on-board assembly and ongoing after-sales assistance; and, most recently, BeElectric, focused on low environmental impact electrical components enriched with new style contents and eco-friendly technology.

“These divisions were born from a progressive reorganisation of our work, with the aim of improving production, sales and service processes,” says #giorgiobesenzoni, who adds: “All three sectors are registering very positive results. In particular, #besenzoni is exploiting a growing market trend, Unica is pursuing its personal positive trend, with a continuous increase in turnover, and even BeElectric, launched in December last year, is earning growing consensus and registering significant orders for new yachts”.

BeElectric featured in particular at the Cannes and Genoa Boat Shows, with the launch of the new electric Salpa Ancora SA 25 (anchor launching system) for boats of all sizes, alongside the electric LaScala (ladder) and LaPasserella (gangway). The fully electric power supply that these products feature brings numerous advantages not only to the boats on which they are installed but also to the environment. Firstly, the absence of a hydraulic power pack makes the systems quieter and the boats lighter. This enables us to deliver a key benefit: less impact on the marine environment as a direct result of fuel reduction as well as reduced energy consumption on board.
