Zar Formenti at the International Boat Show in Genoa 2020: more motivated than ever
Genoa Boat Show and Zar Formenti: a 34 years synergy that means exhibiting new models in world preview through a constant commitment, renewed season after season. A commitment that this year acquires a collective value for our country after months of inactivity, marked by fears and precariousness; months in which Zar Formenti has never failed in that dedication which has always distinguished the brand internationally, and is now ready to face another challenge: a new production site for the expansion of the Motta Visconti headquarters.
Located next to the historic headquarters in Motta Visconti, the new structure consists of 1,200 square meters. (1,000 Production + 200 additional management offices) and is built according to the highest standards of energy efficiency with a 70 kw photovoltaic system and fully electric heating, dehumidification and air conditioning system also for the entire production area (1,000 square meters). In the gluing and sandblasting areas the site is also equipped with special aspirations for the abatement of dust and solvents both on the wall than on the floor.
This intervention is today more decisive than ever for the company of Piero and Luca Formenti and, from the end of 2020, it will enable the production to increase efficiency as well as the logistics of production and the shipping of boats.
In addition to the inauguration of the production unit, the expansion of the configurable online range is also planned by spring 2021.
Any new models will be exhibited at the Boat Show 2020 but Zar lovers can count on the presence of some of the most representative and sold models of the range, and a small novelty on the ZAR 49 SL, which includes a new deck featuring a double stern sofa, which can be raised to a semi-sitting position, instead of the current single.
The stand in pavilion B ground floor will host 14 boats, which can be touched by the visitors who will be provided by all healthcare devices on the basis of a very structured protocol prepared by the organization of the Boat Show, also according to the parameters established by the OMS; the stand is renovated and redesigned in order to guarantee the necessary distancing and individual protection for both employees and the visitors.
