NMEA Awards 2019
Good news for #furuno & MAXSEA.
We're very proud to announce that the National Marine Electronic Association (NMEA) at its 49th annual conference and expo in the United States honored #furuno and MaxSea with "Product of excellence" awards in the following categories:
- Radar: DRS4D-NXT Solid State Doppler Radar - DRS4D-NXT is a Solid-State Radar utilizing doppler technology to ensure the safest navigation. It has no equal in spotting and tracking targets moving around your vessel efficiently with a high resolution.
- Fish Finder: DFF3D Multi-Beam Sonar - The DFF-3D is an innovative tool for efficient fish location and seabed profile surveying, utilizing new multi-beam technology. Highly detailed images are derived from the combination of an advanced signal processing system and an amazingly compact multi-beam transducer.
- AIS: FA170 Class A AIS - FA170P is AIS Transponder with a 4.3" Color LCD Display. It displays symbols for AIS-equipped vessels, AIS-SART's, coastal stations and other aids to navigation within VHF range. AIS data can be output to ECDIS, Radar, or other navigational equipment for collision avoidance support.
- NMEA2000 Sensor: SC33 Satellite Compass - The SC33 Satellite Compass provides highly accurate attitude information for navigation equipment such as Radar, Plotter, Autopilot, Fish Finder and Sonar. With its compact GNSS antenna and built-in processor, it can be used for a wide variety of applications on any type of vessel.
- Commercial Radar: Serie FAR - 2xx8 - The radar series FAR-22x8 Black box, in combination with #furuno or HATTELAND monitors from 19 "to 55", is IMO Cat.1 and Cat.2 certified. The available power is 12 or 25 kW for X-band and 30 kW models for S-band models.
- Marine PC Software: TZ Professional - Version 4 of TZ Professional marine navigation software offers cutting-edge #furuno DFF3D multi-beam sonar integration along with High-Resolution Oceanographic Forecast for fishermen to go directly to the area with the best fishing potential! TZ Professional's many features include Bottom Hardness compatibility, Fishing Workspace, AIS/ARPA target tracking capability, Voyage Recorder Module as well as C-MAP, Navionics and S-57 compatibility. All TZ Professional features can be configured to users' needs or applications. Fishermen save time and money by mapping the sea floor faster than ever before.
