Waveless by CMC Marine is a winner at the 2019 Genoa Boat Show
The success of #waveless, the new family of yacht stabilisers by #cmcmarine, grows more and more. After making its international debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the range won the 2019 #design Accessory award at the Genoa Boat Show, receiving the prize by UCINA - Italy’s marine industry association. The #event was organised jointly with industrial #design association ADI and the magazine IBI - International Boat Industry.
From the outset, latest generation technology and innovative design have been two key factors in CMC Marine’s success. And this combination was without doubt instrumental in the award of such a prestigious prize to the latest product launched by the Pisa-based company. The Waveless family of ultra compact electric stabilisers, which have generated so much interest first in Cannes and now in Genoa, have been recognised as one of the top yacht world accessories at one of the most anxiously awaited events for industry insiders. In collaboration with ADI (the Association set up in 1956 to represent designers, businesses, researchers, teachers, critics and journalists involved in design) and IBI (one of the most influential and important international yacht world magazines), UCINA has chosen the new range of products from #cmcmarine for inclusion with the best designed yacht accessories launched in 2019.
The award ceremony was held at the Genoa Boat Show, which saw a huge influx of visitors to the stand brought to the #event by the company led by Alessandro Cappiello.
Waveless by #cmcmarine is designed for12-meter boats and longer, using the same technology that has made #cmcmarine stabilisers a benchmark on their market. The range, which is made up offour STAB stabilizer models and four TRIM intruder models, is designed to solve the problem of yacht rolling and pitching due to waves and weights on board, but witha focus from the outset on #design too, which is a key factor in this fascinating and multidisciplinary industry.
