F.lli Razeto & Casareto and Vigo Mosaici have donated to the exhibition the handle "Le Château de Dolceacqua", which reproduces Monet’s painting in micro-mosaic.
The donation ceremony was held on Saturday 20 July in the Dolceacqua castle at the presence of the Mayor Fulvio Gazzola.
In Dolceacqua and Bordighera, from 29 April to 18 August 2019, three paintings by Claude Monet, painted by him at Dolceacqua, Bordighera and Roquebrune, Monaco, are on display.
Corporate social responsibility or if you prefer "give back", i.e., the act of giving back to the community, to the territory where you do business, part of what you get from it.
It is in this spirit that F.lli Razeto & Casareto, a manufacturer of handles and locks for the nautical and naval sectors, following an invitation from the PerMare Group, the main sponsor of the event, joined the project promoted by Fulvio Gazzola, Mayor of the Municipality of Dolceacqua, entitled "Monet, l'emozione del ritorno" (Monet, the excitement of the return) - an exhibition open from 29 April to 18 August 2019 - which displays three works by Claude Monet in the places where they were painted by him in 1884: Dolceacqua and Bordighera.
A cultural journey combined with the history of the towns of Dolceacqua and Bordighera, where two works can be admired, painted by the father of Impressionism, both lent by the Musée Marmottan in Paris: Vallée de Sasso. Effet de soleil ("Valley of Sasso. Effect of the sun") exhibited in Bordighera, and Le Château de Dolceacqua ("The Castle of Dolceacqua") exhibited in the Doria Castle of Dolceaqua. Along with the latter, there will also be Monaco, vu de Roquebrune ("Monaco, view of Roquebrune"), the third important painting on display, loaned by the private collection of H.S.H. Prince Albert of Monaco, who will be taking part in the inauguration.
