Centrostiledesign for Filippetti Yacht
The Miami International Boat Show from February 14 to 18, 2019 will provide the opportunity to present Sport S55 to the American market. Designed by #centrostiledesign and produced by #filippettiyacht, this motor #yacht has been created for an owner in search of outstanding performance and a sporty, dynamic #design, as well as offering remarkable comfort below deck too.
Making its debut in the United States, the 55-footer created exclusively for #filippettiyacht by the company led by Davide Cipriani combines performance and style in a #design that stands out in any company. A top speed of 50 knots puts it at the top of the ranking in its category. To succeed in its intent, #centrostiledesign didn’t opt for a super powerful engine, but aimed instead to achieve the perfect balance between weight and power, with a hull that is carefully designed to obtain maximum control, without affecting the final speed.
From February 14 to 18, the Sport S55 (length overall 17.10 meters) will be on show at the Miami International Boat Show, followed by the introduction of a version with a slightly lower top speed. The volumes of this powerful-looking model immediately clarify its status as a coupé, with clean, contemporary lines and striking references to the past. Davide Cipriani and his #design team have underscored the changes of light and shade with sharp, flowing lines and the introduction of some highly original details.
The interior #design springs from a desire to create the appeal of a pure open, but without sacrificing the comfort of a closed hard top and therefore the benefit of air conditioning. The #yacht has a saloon with direct access to the helm station, all in one big setting that can also be partitioned by closing an aft glass door to create more intimate and secluded spaces. Overnight accommodation is provided by three full-height cabins that are flooded with light (two with double beds). These features, combined with the size of the hallway area, which also contains a large kitchen, mean that the lower deck area can be used in complete safety, even at high speed. The interior decoration, featuring sharp, clean styling, is based on the juxtaposition of very light colours that give the setting an extremely relaxed atmosphere.
Davide Cipriani commented: “The S55 Sport is a boat that doesn’t want to surprise. Quite the contrary, it wants to give its owner the sensation of being a powerful, aggressive and, most importantly, a timeless coupé”.
