Maison et Objet January 2019: Fierce design encorages to create a modern apartment

With over 20 years of history, in 2019 Maion&Objet opened it’s doors to receive 600 new brands and gave them the chance to be a part of this universal #Event. Under the Theme “Excuse my French”, the tradeshow presented an inspirational Trend Mook – a guide to help discover all there is to know about France’s new #design and decoration ecosystem. Several conferences were in the spotlight, including The art of "French paradox" explained by Vincent Grégoire or “Designing companions for life” presented by designer of the year - Sebastian Herkner.

This season of Maison et Objet (18-22 January) presented a different format, separating the two concepts that until now were united: home interior and objects and accessories. This way, the visitors had the oportunity to choose their course and althought it represented this reconfiguration, the tradeshow proved once again its quality and surprised with intriguing news.

Paris was honoured with the presence of well known brands and also rising talents from all over the world. Once again it gathered the creative minds of the #design sector and served as a meeting point between designers, architects, decorators, investors, journalists and other #design lovers.

It was in this beautiful city of lights that #Brabbu showed off its natural fierceness and cosmopolitan #design. Inspired by the Padaung tribe In Thailand, the Mohawk Indians, the Naicca caves or the Nazca lines, the products are revealing the natural beauty and diversity of the cultures of our world. Presenting several categories from Armchairs, dining chairs, mirrors, tables or rugs, #Brabbu allows to create full interiors and gives a fresh breath to any kind of project. The brand shows its versatility in different styles it incorporates: from vintage to modern, from contemporary to eclectic, the final goal focuses in responding to different needs and desires.

In the surprising room-by-room concept, #Brabbu showed the guideline of a cosmopolitan design, inspired by the cultures of our world and the power of nature in an apartment perspective. Hall 6 Stand H38 - I37 exhibited a living room with Rare Editions, an office with a new Essex Corner Sofa, a dining room where the inspiration came from tall woody grass that typically grows in the tropics, incorporated in MAMBU Bookcase and even the bedroom presented a new Iraya Headboard which was a great addition to the modern #design and allowed visitors to feel the Intense Way of Living. Also the indoor garden - a space dedicated to celebrate the personality of our natural environment at its most authentic version was decorated by a central fireplace from FOOGO, while an other division - the bathroom – revealed secrets from the sea with the KOI Collection from the creative heads of Maison Valentina.

Both are sister brands of #Brabbu and complement each other to create an extraordinary harmony in every contemporary space. A home cinema served as a relaxing room to complete the sensory experience while enjoying the comfort of BRABBU’s new Otter Sofa Collection. To enhance the energy of BRABBU’s products and provide an even wider range of visual identity, well-known brands came to show how fabrics and wallpapers can be a game changer. Christian Lacroix, Armani Casa, Aldeco and Lelièvre will express main BRABBU’s values throught sensory #design with harmonious colors and memorable textures. Dedar and Sandberg were also a choice to dress up the walls of different divisions with remarkable wallpaper selection.
