Cranchi at the 2018 Cannes Boat Show


At the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2018 they made their debut together two new Cranchi models: the E26 Classic and the E26 Rider. Two 26-foot boats with unusual features, multi-purpose products and distinctive design.

The E26 Classic is a day cruiser with a sporty character and a unique and sophisticated style, in perfect balance between vintage suggestions and contemporary essentiality.

The E26 Rider comes from the same inspiration but manages to surprise even further thanks to its great versatility. This bowrider with outboard engine is in fact excellent for day trips or tender: it can be both. This is why Cranchi chose to call it Luxury Day Tender.

The design of the two models is signed by Christian Grande and is characterised by clean, soft flowing and essential lines. The E26 Classic and Rider are noble boats as should be expected from a shipyard with an important history like that of Cranchi. At the same time, they are performing boats built with innovative production methods, combining wisely natural and technological materials.Boats suitable for navigation on the coast and offshore and requiring minimal maintenance, even after an entire season in the water.

E26 Classic

The vertical bow that characterizes the E26 Classic profile shows from the first glance the classic and sporty character of the boat.

The profile of the boat and the pilot station promise sportiness, while the feeling of well-being on board is enhanced by refined and elegant details

There are strong references to tradition such as the teak bow deck which recalls the classic heritage of wooden boats and acts as a visual counterpoint to the aft deck also covered in teak. And there is certainly no shortage of innovative and functional solutions. Comfort is ensured starting from the large aft sundeck that covers the engine compartment in which a retractable awning can also be placed which can guarantee shade to the cockpit if necessary. The boat center dinette is served by an L-shaped seat that gives continuity to the stern sundeck and two pivoting seats, for right-hand driver and co-driver on the left, that can be directed towards the bow while sailing and towards the stern for hospitality

To accentuate the sporty character of the E26 Classic the wraparound windscreen and full-beam that offers protection to the pilot.At the center of the windshield there is a gap that gives practical access to the foredeck. Under the same bridge there is a small cabin and a toilet compartment to ensure a comfortable stay on board throughout the day and, if desired, even at night.

E26 Rider

The E26 Rider is an innovative bowrider equipped with an outboard engine.

The bow deck houses a lounge area with floor on the same level as the cockpit. The bridge can be easily reached through an opening in the middle of the boat and can accommodate guests in complete safety even with the boat in motion. Two opposed sofas, one towards the right side and the other to the left, can be used both as seats and as a chaise longue.

The distribution of spaces continues also in the center of the boat: the cockpit reveals itself as the true heart of the boat, an elegant and surprising area in terms of size with functional solutions that leave maximum freedom for those who live on board. With perfect symmetry, two large sofas face the two sides while the pilot and co-pilot seats are pivoting and can be directed towards the sofas to further extend the area.Next to the piloting console, on the left, there is a sink and a toilet compartment.

At the stern the outboard motor is flanked on both sides by two bathing platforms: for easy access on board and a retractable ladder. No limits to movement, no limits to freedom
