The Bristol Restaurant and bar celebrates the changing of the seasons with new fall menus at Four Seasons Hotel Boston

October 4, 2018, Boston, U.S.A.

The Bristol #restaurant and Bar unveils new seasonal menus in time for autumn in New England.  Boasting more than ten new appetisers as well as variety of new seasonally inspired dishes and cocktails, the new, locally sourced menus epitomise fall in New England.

“When we created our menus, each of us immersed ourselves in our most vivid fall memories,” shares Executive Chef Jessica Biederman, who takes pride in the meaning behind her menus. “Each depicts a different component of what our culinary team thinks of when we think of with fall. For example, my fall memories are of burning leaves, so we created a fall squash and burrata dish, mimicking the colours of the foliage with deep oranges, browned butter and pear. We’ve put a lot of thought and care into our new dishes, and we’re so excited and proud to share them with our guests.”

Additional recipes pay tribute to the season with dishes including seared halibut fillet with a butternut lasagnette, and wild mushroom veloute, a decadent soup with locally foraged mushrooms, maitake jam and caraway tuile.  Guests can also expect rare delicacies such as A5 wagyu carpaccio and seared Hudson Valley foie gras.  Several staples of the menu remain, including the George’s Bank Sea scallops, served with fregola, cauliflower, apple purée, hazelnuts and locally foraged mushrooms for this season. The dessert menu features classic dishes with a spin, including pumpkin cheesecake and five spice scented butterscotch pudding.

In addition to the #restaurant menus, the cocktail menu has also been updated to reflect the season.

“It’s very important to us that we continue to elevate our cocktails in The Bristol,” says Bristol General Manager Rachid Hadouche. “We’ve worked as a team to develop fresh, innovative offerings that we really can’t wait to share.”

The cocktail menu now also boasts an exclusive Pappy Van Winkle tasting flight, an offering that very few Boston establishments provide.  Furthermore, a new partnership with Berkshire Bourbon of Berkshire Mountain Distillers, Inc. is available as part of the new fall cocktail menu, offering a taste of a local distillery as the season is celebrated in New England.

The Bristol, located inside Four Seasons #hotel Boston, is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. To book a reservation, call 617 351 2037 or reserve online.
