Officine Panerai and Baglietto for Montenapoleone Yacht Club 2018
Milan, 14 May 2018 - #officinepanerai, a high-end sports watch brand from Florence, and #baglietto, a historical world-leading shipyard specializing in the construction of steel or steel and aluminium planing, displacement, and semi-displacement yachts ranging from 35 to 70 meter in length, are going to take part jointly to the fourth edition of #montenapoleoneyachtclub, which will transform Milan luxury street into an exclusive marina from 14 to 20 May 2018.
The synergy of #officinepanerai and #baglietto will bring together luxury and boating. Not only do these brands share a strong passion for sea and for Italian design, but they also boast a glorious past of epic adventures involving the Navy.
In the Thirties the Panerai watch manufacturer in Florence created the first luminescent diving watches for the Italian Royal Navy; in the meantime, #baglietto shipyards were standing out for their fast, well-performing military boats, in particular for the legendary MAS, the torpedo-armed motorboats whose acronym was associated by Gabriele D'Annunzio with the famous Memento Audere Semper motto.
Strengthened by a heroic past, but constantly keeping a forward-looking attitude when it comes to technology and innovation, #officinepanerai and #baglietto are going to present their best creations embodying the Made in Italy #excellence, exclusively for guests, at the Panerai boutique at Via Montenapoleone from 14th May 2018.
Throughout the #montenapoleoneyachtclub, an impressive #baglietto installation is going to welcome boat and luxury watch enthusiasts in the boutique, where they will have the chance to admire the scale models of some of the most characteristic boats built at the modern facilities of the shipyard in La Spezia, such as the 46m Fast "Lucky Me" or the MV13 model inspired by the Mas.
The highlights of the Panerai exhibition are going to be the Submersible watches - solid, water-resistant watches providing unrivalled visibility up to 300 meters - such as the Luminor Submersible 1950 CarbotechTM 3 Days Automatic, which has a case made of carbotech (a composite carbon fiber-based material), and the Luminor Submersible 1950 Amagnetic 3 Days Automatic Titanio, whose innovative case prevents the formation of magnetic fields inside the watch.
