The hull is ready … bring it away, finish building the boat with creativity!

BUILT FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO DISTINGUISH WITH AN EXTRAORDINARY BOAT
Who has not ever wanted to ride the waves at the helm of a boat of custom built class? This wooden hull, made with the technique of the strip-planking by Shipwrights of the shipyard Foschi of Cesenatico (italian coast of Adriatic Sea), is ready to be customized exactly according to the desires of the shipowner… or it can be transferred in a own back yard and then decide how to complete it (only for expert builders). You may also decide to entrust the work necessary to arm the craft and interior furnishings at the same Foschi shipyard or at another site of your liking.

AN EXCELLENT DESIGNER AND A GREAT SHIPYARD
Foschi shipyard operates in the yachting industry for over forty years, always in continuity with its tradition in timber construction, using both cross-laminated and mixed technique, the method for launching boats with qualities ofexceptional strength and flexibility of use. It should be remembered, among the many and beautiful crafts built with this technique by the same shipyard, the IOR class 10 meters “Bertoldo” led to victory numerous times by Mauro Pelaschier. Paolo Lodigiani, multifaceted marine engineer, experienced sailor and author of several books, is an authoritative guide for all those who wish to build boat by their own.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY OF THE ALBATROS 36
If the beauty of a wooden hull is out of the question, the shipowner remains indispensable, however, to consider carefully philosophy that is the basis of his birth. This Albatros 36, which Paolo Lodigiani considers as his ideal boat, it reveals a wise harmony between tradition and innovation.

The round bottom, as well as giving unique elegance, making it particularly suitable for offshore voyages and long voyages. The deck, the exterior trim and teak furniture encircle a comfortable and refined craft, ideal for those who want to sail in looseness. The project also allows an allround flexibility: the minimum draft, thanks to the lifting keel (from 2.5 to just 1.22 mt.), allows to access ports and bays with shallow water and the boat is perfect to be conducted by a small crew or even solo. Last but not least, the interior is not designed to accommodate the maximum number of people, but rather to offer maximum comfort and functionality.
