Riviera Yachting NETWORK welcomes the availability of the new cruise agreement dedicated to yachting

The #riviera Yachting NETWORK cluster with some 90 companies in the refit, repair-maintenance and #yacht services sector in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur is pleased with the solution that the cruise contract represents for ship owners and #yacht charter customers.

It is at the root of this issue that the cluster joined the French Board of Yachting Professionals three years ago and welcomes the F.I.N’s steady work within it.

The challenge was to find a contract that meets European requirements and is validated by the national customs directorate. This work has been carried out in the interest of the sector and its professionals, without exclusion. It is in this spirit that this contract is now made available (free of rights) by the French Nautical Industries Federation.

Some structures still seek to claim paternity, copy it, but professionals know well what does it return. Many organizations have refused to join forces with the F.I.N.

Now, and this is the essence, this contract allows today to consider the future more serenely:

- It gives France tax advantages which it had lost in recent years, in view of what other territories of yachting still offered in fact or in law.
- It limits bleeding suffered by the frequentation of yachts which in recent years preferred to sail, to embark charters or to refuel on other coasts than those of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur and Corsica nevertheless so attractive (-20% in 2015 and 2016). The shortfall in direct and indirect economic benefits will have been significant.

Riviera Yachting NETWORK, in the person of its President Laurent Falaize, alongside parliamentarians in particular, was called to testify of changes in public / private relations at the 1st Boating & Yachting Conference. One conducted with the Directorate General of Customs and its result are a beautiful illustration.
